Our History

SPG Construction was started in 1998 by Mario Salgado Sr. Relying on his years of installing EIFS and running crews, he built SPG Construction into a multimillion dollar company. Mario Salgado Jr. then took over in early 2002. Under his supervision, SPG Construction has grown into an industry leader and well respected company in multiple scopes of work. Recently, SPG Lite was created with a focus of expertise in the tenant improvement and small commercial market. Over the last twelve years we have expanded our operation to provide expert service and installation throughout the entire Southwest.


At SPG our employees are our greatest asset that is why we believe that SAFETY is our number 1 priority. SPG’s commitment to safety starts with our PPEP (Personal Protective Equipment Program). Upon hiring of new personnel, we issue a complete set of PPE for all tasks assigned. We then continue to monitor and upgrade issued equipment to insure that all PPE is maintained and serviceable. Another part of our Safety Program is our continuous education programs. We provide OSHA 10 and 30 Hour programs by certified safety consultants. Also we provide weekly “Tool Box” meetings at all jobsites to cover current topics and concerns. We conduct random safety inspections to ensure our employees as well as other trades involved on the project. Everyone at SPG is aware of how important safety is to our industry and we continue to strive for success. And we define that success by having our employees work in a safe and accident free workplace.
